1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly (name, email, portfolio links, profile photo), information generated through use of the Platform (messages, project data, and payment-status records), and usage data (pages visited, device type, IP address). Payment features currently use test-mode flows; live marketplace payments and creator payouts are not available.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate the Platform, support creator discovery, project requests and collaboration, communicate with you about your account, improve our services, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
3. Sharing Your Information
We share your information with other users as needed for projects (for example, your public display name and portfolio can be viewed by clients). Supabase provides database and authentication services; Stripe processes test-mode payments.
4. Creator Public Profiles
If you enable a public creator profile, your display name, kapture_tag, portfolio, bio, location, and availability can be viewed at kapturethat.media/[username]. You can disable your public profile in Account Settings.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Upon deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication (managed by Supabase). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@kapturethat.media. Users in the UAE are entitled to rights under Federal Decree Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection.
8. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption and row-level security in our database. No system is completely secure — please use a strong, unique password.
9. Changes
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by email or prominent notice on the Platform.
